| I would say that before every link, there is a category identified by a little image. sure, there wouldn't be many categories, but users could be able to sort through them and choose what they want to see. my suggestions for categories: NSFW eBay links pictures videos dupes etc. whatever. also, a more promoted forum would be nice. I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to find people to moderate it. |

| neg on the categories. mfisn since day 1 has always been about links and links only, categories would make it farky/diggy/etc - the only real category is whether it's worksafe or not, and in my/our opinion that's all you really need - short of reading the optional description andor url | |

| Yeah, categories are a bad idea. I don't need to be told if something is Funny, Ironic, or Stupid. I'll be the judge of that! I think we had a suggestions topic a while ago before the forum got nuked but I forget what came up! I don't know, there's not much more I want from mfisn. What about being able to browse a specific user's links maybe? |

| yes. it's going to be just as simple. new mfisn is gonna have some more ability for longer descriptions but again that kinda shit is your/our individual posting pref - if you feel like prefacing your post with relevant info, go ahead. if you don't, then don't haha to be honest im lookin at the work we have on v3 right now and it's fairly much the same. a lot of the changes that are happening are behind da scenes, since mfisn1/2 were coded really ugly-like. so just know that the pages will probably load much faster. OH the rss is getting fixed/cleaned up. OH YEAH more support for multiple links in one post |

| o hi i'm in ur mfisn.com developin' ur new codez. couple ways i could go about that. one would be to allow users to personalize their rss; set the filter/option settings for their rss feed and generate an .xml for each user. anyone would be able to view it, but it's your take on the links. there'd still be a generic one for users without accounts. a URI might look like: /feeds/wtsnacks.xml however, i've been considering generating rss just-in-time, in which case you could provide the generator script with filter flags of your own. then everybody would be able to take advantage of the filtering ability. a URI might look like: /feeds/?i_hidemask=youtube&i_numdays=3 |

Some sort of bookmark system. There have been infinity billion useful links on mfisn (the link that allows users to jump to a specific part in a youtube video comes to mind) that I forgot to bookmark that are now gone forevers. Something as simple as a checkbox next to a link and a search option that says "marked links"  |
